DMX Spy Lite: Instant DMX Universe Identification & Monitoring

Overview

Connect any DMX512 device via 5 pin XLR.

DMX Heatmap - Get an instant bird's eye view of the connected DMX universe. Any address with a value above zero will illuminate.

Universe Identifier - Easily identify the universe of any mystery DMX line. The value of the universe identifier will be displayed as both a percentage % and a decimal (0-255).

Note

Universe identifiers must be setup in your lighting console to best utilize this device. The level of DMX address 512 must be matched to the universe which it occupies. (Uni 1 -> 1%, Uni 10 -> 10% etc...)

To turn the device on for a short period:

To turn the device on for an extended period:

Hold button

Due to its limited battery capacity, the device will sleep automatically in the following conditions:

DMX Status	Auto Sleep Time
Active	60 Seconds
Innactive	6 Seconds

Battery

Powered via one CR2032 3v lithium battery. (CR2032-CR2025 Compatible.)

Warning

Always align the battery polarity marks and follow installation arrows on rear of device to prevent damage.
